Originally an electronic engineer, I graduated in 2012 with a BSc first class honours degree in Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the University of Westminster. I was then invited to carry out post-graduate training in Taiwan at one of their prominent Chinese Medical Hospitals. Following this, I spent 7 years of post-graduate training learning advanced acupuncture and body massage and manipulation skills from Andrew Nugent Head who was a disciple of Dr. Li Hongxiang in Beijing – one of the last known Chinese medical doctors who still practiced in a manner traceable back to Chinese Medicine as practiced at the zenith of the Imperial Court.
As a keen sports person, my initial interest was in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Although still a large part of my day to day treatments, I now also see many patients with more systemic issues – digestive problems, period dis-regularity, migraines, fertility, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, and chronic fatigue just to name a few.
I am also co-owner of a busy clinic in London, the Millers Way Project, where I spend most of the week. I’ve recently moved to East Sussex and like it very much.
