Clinic Owner, Chiropractor & Sports Massage Therapist

Saskia Wickenden | MChiro (First Class Hons) DC

I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in 2020 with a First Class Honours degree in Master of Chiropractic. Alongside my studies, I also qualified as a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist. After working as an Associate Chiropractor at Southcote Proactive Healthcare in Maidstone, I established Gatehouse Health in April 2024.

My focus is on delivering high-quality, individualised care to help each person function at their best. Whether through spinal manipulation, mobilisation, massage, dry needling, exercise programming, or lifestyle advice, I aim to find the right approach for every patient.

With a background in Modern Pentathlon and 10m Air Pistol Shooting, I have a particular interest in Sports Chiropractic and the biomechanics of athletic performance. Having ridden and competed horses all my life, I also have a special interest in working with equestrians. I’m currently completing a qualification in Veterinary Chiropractic, with the aim of helping both horse and rider by addressing how the rider’s biomechanics can influence the horse’s behaviour and way of going.

I currently work as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist for East Sussex MSK Community Partnership.

“My interests lie in both Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Since graduating, I have completed the AACP Foundation Course in Acupuncture, along with all of my POGP postgraduate courses in Pelvic Health.
